Discover how to display a PDF file/document from your application or project.
To display a PDF file, you have two options:
- Embed the PDF file within a screen: this file is accessible without an internet connection (offline)
- Use the URL of a PDF file (for example, from Google Drive): in this case, an internet connection will be required to display this content.
💡 The PDF file is displayed using the PDF reader of each platform (iOS, web, Android, Windows). There may be minor display differences related to these PDF readers.)
1. Insert the PDF file (offline)
If you import the PDF file, it will be available offline.
To insert the PDF file:
- Before its import into PandaSuite Studio, you must compress this file into ZIP format.
- Import the ZIP file into the Files window.
- Insert a Web component in your screen: place it where you want to display the PDF file.
- In the Properties of the component, click on Offline and select the .zip file.
- In the File field, enter the name of the PDF file that was compressed (example .pdf).

Double-click on the component to preview the PDF document.
2. Use the URL of a PDF (online)
For this option, the PDF file must be hosted and have a public URL. You can host it on Google Drive, for example.
To insert the URL of the PDF:
- Insert a Web component in your screen: place it where you want to display the PDF file.
- In the Properties of the component, click on Online.
- In the URL field, enter the URL
- Double-click on the component to preview the PDF document.
